What a Great Weekend!

Dinner on Friday went really well, everyone had a nice visit and caught up on things. We pretty much just avoided the 'hot' topics and had a good time together. We visited about how things were going for Kelly at school, mine and Craig's work, how things are going for Heather at her new apartment, and the such. One thing we did finally hear is that Heather has actually quit school, and is now focusing on finding a full time job instead of a part-time job and school. At least she told us, and it's not just rumors anymore.

Saturday was an eventful day. We did our semi-annual fish tank overhaul. In this process, we completely dismantle, deep-clean, and reassemble our aquariums. And, since some of our fish died in the smoke-filled house incident, we were able to consolidate the tanks. Now, we only have two tanks instead of three.

On Sunday, I helped Craig assemble my brand new BBQ grill :) YAY! I LOVE to Barbeque, and Craig got me a new grill for our anniversary. We put it all together and (of course) cooked an amazing steak dinner on it! It was the first cook-out this year and everything tasted SO GOOD.

  1. how could you get an anniversary gift you won't have an anniversary until 2012? But that's cool. I can't remember when Craig had only 2 aquariums!

  2. Very nice grill, I'm glad to see you stayed with the charcoal type rather than the propane ones. The flavor of charcoal is so much better than the propane.
